Vietnamese Arabica Whole Bean - Medium Roast
 
A delicious Arabica coffee bean - farmed, pesticide free by a third generation family in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.  Ngoc; the farmer, and big time coffee lover - runs the farm that his grandparents bought from a French family in the 1930's.
 
He has adopted many natural practices; including breaking with the norm, rather than just rows and rows of coffee trees, he also grows Pessimon and Avocado trees.
He told me that coffee trees in their indiginous  habitat; where they were found in Ethiopia, would have been growing in an area more akin to a forest.
 
Therefore, the coffee trees would have had some shade, and would have got nutrients from the other trees.  This in turn would create a more tasty bean.
